Just get a socket from Digi-Key or Mouser Electronics, and get a fine tip 35W soldering iron to go with it, it's not hard at all... I'd offer to do it for ya, but you'd have to mail me your ECU...

Just noticed you're in Portland... I'm not too far from ya... If you got a socket I could do it if you bring it down on a weekend...
