I took off the plastic intake duct and hoses. Then held the throttle plates open with a screwdriver handle wedged in at the cable cam. I sprayed brake parts cleaner in the body and on the blades and wiped them off with a paper towel until clean. Then I left it open for a while to air dry. It was a rough start.
