So you all know, we were able to get the bolts out of the car. Not very gracefully though.
We banged a dent in the front of the wheel well (behind the plastic protection), which gave us the clearance to remove and insert the trailing link bolts.
We then sanded/cleaned the dents and painted the area to help with rust prevention.
