I'm not sure what the part is called, but the MAF filter is attached to it. There was a small connection that had come loose from the body of whatever this part is. A small hose attaches to it. Since this connection could not be pushed back in, the guy said he could attach it with epoxy. As I said it is the assembly that the MAF filter is attached to. Since I am not keeping the car, the shop is trying to rememedy the problem inexpensively before I have to spend money on parts. Both the MAF and this vacuum or air intake(whatever the thing is called) both cost over $200. I don't know if this will help you to know what part I'm referring to.
