Patience goes in to have her nose powdered today. 3-4 Days, and she'll be good as new. The guy I'm having do the work is highly respected by the insurance company, even though he is not on their "preferred" list. He has also come highly recommended by others. We'll see.
Meanwhile, the tranny saga continues. My wife contacted the tranny guy (not the same ones who re-built the tranny, initially -- they've had their chance) to ask about the estimate. He said that he forgot.
Will figure an estimate and get back with us.
The tail pipe finally flew off the Evil Twin this morning, on the way to work. Luckily, I salvaged it before an 18-wheeler smooshed it. So, the tip is intact. I may, however, see if the stock tips can be refitted. I've never been overly fond of the KC tips, but, I think the exhaust uses a larger pipe, and that the stock tips may be too small to fit -- we'll see.
Just thought I'd update, not that anyone really cares.
