I would second the PB Blaster. Made easy work of the exhaust bolts when I dropped my tranny.
Another idea would be to get yourself to someplace with an air or electric rachet vice a breaker bar. They usually put less side torque on a bolt - and in my limited experience that's frequently what causes a snap off - assuming it isn't past penetrating spray help.
