I hate to be another person asking this question, but it seems that the problem I am having is slightly different than what I have found already posted in the forums.

I bought a replacement security fob from my local dealer. I put fresh batteries in it.

I followed the directions step-by-step already posted in the forum. I can get my car into programming mode easily. It is a '92, so I hear clicking from the glove box and my parking lights flash.

I keep pushing the button on the remote, but get no response from the car. (I think it is supposed to beep the horn every time the remote button is pushed) Am I doing something wrong? Is there some step I have missed?

I don't think there is a problem with the security module itself, because it goes into program mode every time. Any help you guys can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
