Quite alright. Considering the type of car, I guess I can see that too (sport/performance - anyone interested enough to do that kind of work on it is likely to want to drive it kind of hard).

I was just thinking along the lines of what kind of mileage some of those Jap cars are capable of. And even what I've put on some 80s-90s era American ones (220k+), and thinking it otherwise should have a lot of life left.

It would be disappointing, but I guess if you had to write it off completely at the 170k+ it's got, that was still a pretty good run.

I had another guy tell me it has $3000 worth of glass (a local Subaru specialist mechanic), but I guess that wasn't right either. Or maybe it would be if you had to try to find it new, but no one needs it apparently.
