I sent him a long email about three months ago, from both of my email accounts. I have not heard anything and my emails have not been returned.
Masao has always been a very sensitive and honorable person from all of my dealings with him. I fear that he must have died (hopefully not by his own hand). In the past, he has always apologized whenever he would encounter a problem with my orders, even if it was beyond his control. I would think that he would contact those of us who expressed concern about him.
I also tried to contact him by phone a couple of times but was unsuccessful as the number was not in service. If someone wants to try from the U.S., the number I have is 011-81-75-333-4300.
His business failings could have affected his mental state and shame, misplaced guilt and embarrassment associated with it could have been too much for him to endure. I hope not, and pray that one day he will respond.
