well i installed, and tried relocating the stock plastic liner w/ the black goo of death... i don't think i have the seal that i should, i think there's probably some gaps between my wooden bracket and the door and the speaker... i'm gonna take the doors back apart soon and fill in any gaps i can find w/ some silicone RTV... hopefully that'll bring up some low freq response
i'm also gonna run them thru an amp instead of using the HU to power them...
on another note... i have LOTS of treble, w/ the tweeters in the dash and the 'midrange' and the 1/2" tweeter on the speakers...
i had to turn down the treble it was giving me a headache
