Yeah, I like the oil site, been going there for a long time. only caution is the site allows "sponsors" who sometimes answer based on the product they're selling, plus while not as suseptible to flaming as this site (sometimes), they're worse with presenting opinion as fact (IMHO). A recent example had a guy blaming synthetic gear lube (I think it was redline) for destroying his differential, but admitted he had been racing - seems like a "duh" to me, but then....

940 billion gallons since when? The question was how much have we taken out since it started, and how big a hole would that fill. I have no idea, but I calculate that to be the displacement of approximately 687,000,000,000 SVX engines (give or take a few).
