Is this wind resistance or something? Maybe the door or window flexing?

The windows get tight and sticky from dirt in the runners.
On a good fine day, roll down the windows and use something like a cane, something fine that will flex, with absorbent dampened cloth on it to clean what you can from the channels at the sides.
When these are fairly clean [the damp cloth will not be coming up dirty] let it dry, and then apply some petroleum jelly to these runners. You could also put some on the side edges of the glass too. Don't over-do it. You only need a smear of the lubricant all along the channel.
Once the window is nice and free in the channel, the motor will not need so much torque to push it home.
