Significant Technical Input
I wouldn't worry too much, I once had a neighbor in Fl. that dunked his pick-up in the family sand pit - about 25' down. He was still driving the truck 5-6 years later.

Main thing is to get it flushed out ASAP. Have them flush the oil several times (with a new filter each time.) The difficult part is the sensors, they don't take to water very well. They should replace those all now, TPS, O2, MAP, MAF, etc. Don't forget to have tranny and diffs flushed also. Have them check all of the lights, if the housings take on water the sockets will go bad, the chrome will rot from the reflectors, etc. Poking a small hole in the bottom of the muff and resonator probably a good idea also. If the water got inside the cabin have the seats removed and the carpets pulled up and dried to avoid rot/mildew/rust.

When you get the car back drive it a couple hundred miles as soon as you can. Two things will happpen: you'll find out if the car's going to crap out (and when it doesn't you shouldn't have anxities about that anymore) and the sustained heat will dry out whatever residual moisture remains.
