Just a thought when purchasing parts locally...visit the websites of all of the Subaru dealerships within driving distance of you. Most Subaru dealerships have now signed up to have the Simple Part websites attached to their dealer sites and I do not believe they can charge above MSRP on the website for parts and you can select local pick up. Second, on that dealer site there is usually another section for part specials and you can find coupons for their dealer site or coupons to use at the parts counter, often 10-20% off of regular parts and/or accessories.
I used bwb3's location as an example...Ocala Subaru, a dealership around Gainesville, Florida does not subscribe to the Simple Part site but they do offer 3 coupons which can be used towards parts or accessories.

Subaru of Orange Park in Jacksonville offers neither however I noticed another thing to mention. Going on a trip? Just want to have a visual inspection of your vehicle so you know what's wrong and what could be done? Most Subaru dealers offer a free visual inspection of your vehicle and will write a report card on anything that needs to be done and how important it is to do it.
Subaru of Jacksonville offers the web store with 25% off and a 10% coupon for in store.
