I've replaced that fixed glass on the drivers door on the 94 I used to have...it was a pain....but no worse than the windshield.
Best I remember the glass was in the neighborhood of $150, I didn't need the moveable door window, just the fixed one.
If you find a good door, it might be cheaper to replace the door, but you'd just have to see what you could find a door for (I have a good one, but shipping would be high).
My guess is around $1200-$1500 by good shop, or $500-$750 by a cheaper shop (I could probably get my body guy to fix it for $400)
