Hey everyone. Thought that i would go ahead and post this up to give everyone ample time to prepare for the May 27th annual BBQ at my house. Last year we had a big turnout and i would like to have even more. I would like to stock my field with as many subarus as possible. Most of you have seen the field that you parked in last year. So you know how many i can fit. i would say a comfortable 50-60 subarus. This thread is just a friendly little reminder for you to prepare. As time nears i will ask that Nathan or trish repost this and add a poll to get a head count on those attending.

Things we did last year:
We ate alot of food. Between teds homemade dip, and other stuff that people brought. It was def good eating times. We installed parts, cleared headlights and you name it. done some minor mods. People drove up the road and kinda goofed off a bit. It was fun.
This year. This year i am going to try to do the same as last year but a little bit more organised. i purchased Some two-way communicators and going to try to do something with them. I am going to try to plan a little road trip so i can get some video footage, and be able to upload to the net. More like a organised movement. it would be only a 1/2 to 1 hour drive.

I am still opening up the garage for installs etc.. HOWEVER i have a limited supply of tools when it comes to metrics. So if you are planning on installing anything you might want to research the part your installing and get the needed tools and bring them with you. i am accumilating some metric but i still have a limited amount of metrics. I have two small jackstands that will work nice with lowered cars and two regular size jackstands.

Once again we will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, buns, condiments, and a couple of side dishes. We will have a couple three coolers with some ice, So if you would like to put some of your beverages in them you can do so. We will provide some drinks ( POP ) but pretty much if you have something that you like to drink you might consider bringing it yourself. I will try to have some bud-light available but if you want any type of alcohol other than this please bring it yourself as well. We will try to have chairs available as well but we cant promise anything. We have a limited supply on that as well. So you might consider bringing a fold up chair.

ATTN: if you plan on bringing children please understand that alcohol beverages will be present and we also have dogs ( ROTTS ). Though they will be placed in the other side of the fenced yard and wont be able to get to where we are, we ask that you dont stick your hands over the fence no matter how friendly they may look. My Dam ( female ) is very protective of this house and everything inside of it and she will be very nervous when everyone starts showing up.

In conclusion:

We would like to have alot of subarus. I would like to even have the guys from dayton attend if someone can let them know it would be greatly appreciated. Food, Installs and driving. So make sure you clear your sate for the 27th of MAY and come on down. Like i said as time nears i will ask that nathan or trish post up a poll for a head count. Also as time nears i will give further information as well.

Respectfully

Shawn
