I had cold start trouble, and it only seemed to happen at around 32 degrees. The engine would just grind away and not even try to fire, but would start readily with the accelerator held to the floor. Replacing the coolant temp sensor completely solved this problem.

Get the sensor from any auto parts house for <$20. You'll need a 22mm deep-well socket (this size also fits the wheel lug nuts). Five minute procedure. I had more trouble getting the wires loose than removing the sensor.

Note that my car had no drivability/stalling problems.
