I can get a brand new short block shipped to you for around $2150. Subaru short blocks include rods, pistons bearings and crank all assembled so all you do is bolt the rest on and away you go. I can also get a brand new set of OEM head gaskets for about $125 delivered.

Head gaskets are available in the US for about $80 for the pair, FYI. That seems like a great price from Subaru for the shortblocks though. I was curious if they were actually attainable or not. Is that price shipped to you in Australia, or shipped anywhere in the world?
