First, does it work, at all? Does the light stay on constantly, whether the system is on or off? Or, does the bulb not illuminate at all? Either, sometimes indicates the system is inop. Can you put it in programming mode (all doors and trunk closed, security system in OFF position, turn ignition on with engine off, then, turn ignition off and immediately pressing security button until horn beeps once and parking lights blink with a clicking coming from the glovebox -- then press one remote three times, and one remote two times, or if one remote, just press three times, with each press being accompanied by a beep from the horn to indicate it's getting the signal, then, turning the ignition on with the engine off, then turning ignition off, to complete programming)?
If it's the light, remove the light pod, by inserting a small flat-blade scredriver into the far end of the pod (not the single switch, but the entire row of switches), being careful not to scratch it -- and pulling with your index finger on the end of the pod nearest the steering wheel. It should pop out. Make sure you have a replacement LED (don't know the part #). If you have a replacement single LED, it's a matter of pulling the old one from the white foam rubber housing (It's obvious, from the back of the switch), remembering how to "re-string" the wires to replace it. If you order the OE part number, it well already be in the foam rubber housing and ready for an out/in replacement. Then, just snap the switch pod back into the dash.
Is this what you was asking, Landshark?
