Very sorry to hear about your mishap. These things happen, but that doesn't make it any easier to swallow.
FWIW, brake fluid is very bad for paintwork, but I had never heard that ATF might be bad for paintwork. It could be, of course, but that's news to me.
As you know our steering fluid is ATF. If you look at the feed pipe connected to the gearbox where the dipstick is situated, you will note it is painted a nice glossy black. I have never known that nice gloss black paint to deteriorate or be marked by spilled ATF.
So I would expect that you have wiped off everywhere, and I also would expect your paint will suffer no damage.
