Yeah. I understood. My previous post still applies.

There's no information in the service manual to say what voltage the signal wire floats at. I measured mine at 5v.

The important thing is that the sensor in your 5MT gearbox produces the same type of signal as the JDM/USA sensor - and that it is connected to the Yellow-Red wire that feeds the ECU, Speedo, Cruise Control, etc.

As far as picking up power at the gearbox, I would utilise one of the now obsolete wires from the transmission plug and then at the TCU end join it onto one of the black/white TCU power supply wires on b6 or c1. These are powered from fuse 16 in the drivers footwell.
