Smile repair THIS

A long time ago in a land far away. . . . I repaired a similar break on a different vehicle: I took the whole unit apart (I guess I took the whole unit out) and disassembled the antenna mast. If you can't get a whole replacement mast, you might be able to do what I did: Remove the bottom (I assume this is what's broken) section. Somehow I converted the next section upward to be the bottom section (flared, crimped or whatever), eliminating the broken section. Of course your antenna will be shorter. Worked good for me, but don't know your needs? GOOD "LUCK"!
