The sad thing is that exactly a month ago this was a 90% COMPLETE (missing radiator and stock wheels) svx with minor front end damage, for sale in a different ebay auction, and not far from where I live in Utah. I was watching the auction, ready to bid, when it ended suddenly.
I guess the guy selling the "shell" now, contacted the seller and they made a deal outside of ebay. Now this dude's stripped it down, is keeping the engine for his VW bus, and is asking crazy prices for the other parts ($450 for a door!!). I was hoping to get the COMPLETE car for parts for my '92 pearl... not many parts cars come up like that in Utah. Oh well... Consolation is that he didn't get a single bid on the "shell", not even the $20 he started at.
