Hello John, Hi everybody,
John, I can't blame you for bailing out. That was an awful storm, but we did manage a lovely barbeque ourselves later on, and the fireworks show was very spectacular.
Thanks everybody for coming. Many came from very long distances, and we had four or five new cars not seen at shows before.
A few old friends could not make it, but lots of things going on at summertime, so it's understandable.
I have a few photographs, but stupidly forgot to take my camera from the hotel Saturday, and regretfully, I don't have a shot with all the Saturday group of owners together. But thank you all for adding to the fun, it was really great to meet you.
On Monday John & I called to Graham in Taunton and collected a gearbox for Betty. Hopefully I will get her driving properly soon. We arrived home at 09.30 this morning after 25 hours travelling, so I am bushed tired, going to bed early. I'll post photos when I get them processed.
Thank you all, a great meet, and we are planning something a little special for next year for the 15th Anniversary.
