I see that your car has completed 213k Miles which gives me a lot of confidence and makes me even surer that the SVX is not such a Lemon as it is painted. What has had to be overhauled other than expected routine items ? You must be rated in the maximum experience category !
Actually I am starting to wonder if I am listening to tyre ( tire ) noise, the car is so quiet that anything at all becomes intrusive. If it is bearings or a bearing it is a " just through the hardenig sing " rather than a " bad news growl " if you get my drift. A bit like trying to describe the taste of a special wine. Any one like to generate a noise on site ? !
Also thanks again to you VK. The numbers you came up with confirm those from Doug so that I doubly sure that I have " the real oil " and I am sure I will have no problems locating the correct items thanks to you all.
