Strange, but it's true. The one I picked up from NASIOC
did have it... I wasn't aware that you could buy them otherwise!
I really don't know if you can modify them without being really crafty. Cutting the hole for the stalk is not a big deal, but the internal bracketry is very different where the stalk mounts.
