OK im putting in a 4.44 tranny into my car and i have a question about the kick-down solenoid... what is it, i mean i know what it does, but what is it physicaly? and would it be possible to wire a potentiometer into it so i could adjust it from inside the car? say turn it down to kick-down real easy for racing, and turn it up to kick-down less for highway and hill climbing?
it would be cool if i could but if not.....
