I didnt have this site for reference when I purchased my 92 SVX, however I had prior knowledge from a friend who knew a few SVX owners...so here goes...make sure the auto shifts smooth and that it engages without any trouble..and that it shifts into 4th during your test drive(s)...make sure there isnt a howling noise coming from the rear wheels..indicating wheel bearing failure..not cheap to replace..and while driving it make sure to make some parking lot tight turns in both directions and check for any shuttering or other noises..and most of all get under the SVX and check for leaks and other signs of trouble and use this link for FAQ on the SVX http://svx-iw.com
