I swear none of the fluid was reddish colored, all black/dark brown.....but I would agree with you on the power steering return line. As for price for the work....It was over 1500 which I had saved up for, but they fixed everything I had instructed them to...I didn't have them do anything with the back of the engine and I didn't have them do anything with the P/S pump or lines.
Now this seperator plate, is that the piece with the gear teeth on it as in one of my pics...kind of has a rusty color to it?? Does anyone have the part numbers of the seals/gaskets that go to the back of the engine where I may be seeing additional oil?
Here's another question: Does old ATF fluid ever appear brown or black incase it wasn't changed in awhile??
