re torque converter

Hi Joe,

when my tranny went the first time I thought it would be the perfect time to do something about this very problem. I decided to increase the stall point on the converter to just over 3500 rpm it currently sits at about 2800 rpm. The result was great, it felt like you were being catapulted off the line and gear changes were sharp and you were always in the power band. however the down side is normal driving feel suffered with high revs at low speeds and petrol consumption went up dramatically. Maybe somewhere in between would be better,

Conclusion: great for going fast somewhere, not so great for city driving.
