This is a "whine" and not a "squeal," right? If your P/S pump is low on fluid, this could cause a "whine" when floored, mainly because if the fluid is forced out quickly, it could be sucking some air. Same if the O-ring is just now beginning to deteriorate. It may be getting air from somewhere. But, again, without hearing the sound, it's just a guess.
