I agree that the 650 Savage would make an excelent first bike. One that would not be outgrown quickly and would keep a new rider satisfied as well as an experienced rider who didn't need a liter+ monster under his butt. I was not aware that they had been making that model for over 20 years, unless you only have maybe 1 finger on each hand and foot. How long have they been making the Savage? I thought they came out with it in 2000?
