Did you notice in the undercarriage picture the undercladding piece appears to have a large section cut out with another piece with vents riveted in.
Maybe to better cool the tranny per the theory some here run without that piece installed? But this way it retains some of the aerodynamic, intake pressure area, and protective qualities that piece provides?
The car looks great. A few years ago someone posted here that it was being kept in a shed somewhere in terrible conditions and was not in the best shape. True or not, I'm guessing they put a little work into it to get it looking this good. Thumbs up to Subaru for considering this one of 6 cars worthy to represent their history.
Will this "40 years" display be making the rounds to all the auto shows this year?
