Those are not plastic, they are metal.

When you torque the long upper screw (where the "L" shape leveler is) as well as the middle lower one both from the back of the headlight, you can get all the frame that holds the lens out. There is also a ball joint in the middle upper frame that holds the inner lens.
That is of course after you remove the outer front Yellowish cover out.

I can give them a 7/10 in terms of difficulty.

Now with the UK headlights, the middle back screw is replaced by a motor. Torquing it in place will be a challenge. Let me get back to you when I am done with the first headlight.
