hi either way the lap belt is the most inportant ,you say subaru wont help you ?did you contact 1800 subaru3 and ask ? ive seen them help with seat belt problems ,as for the air bag ,like others have said if you start your car and the light goes out ,it should work ,but if you concerned insp it your self and make sure the bag is intact ,inspect the front sensors for damage ,as for the track make sure its clean and nothing stuck in it ,one other thing the belts are inertra belts so they move till gravity locks them
