I have a 65 Dodge van, yea, an old 'Hippie' unit, in the stable. It, too, is loud. It is the kind of 'loud' that VIBRATES the inside of your body, but the ears do NOT hurt. From a 20 MPH roll, I can carry the front wheels about 40 ft. If I hit it from a dead stop, parts spray all over the road. After 10 years of 'road service' duty, it will be used for 'truck-pulls', now. The dirt will allow the lug bolts, drive shaft and transmission case to survive a 'launch'. I guess I will have to remove the bed and 'paisley' curtains, and 'shag' carpet and barn board panneling too'. I guess I can leave the "Protected by Smith and Wesson" sticker, since it still IS!

The first time I started it when my new wife, ( 20 years ago), was standing next to it, she turned away and walked about 20 feet. She said, " it HURT my belly!"
Oohhh...this is the kind of 'sound' I would love. Just don't start your car around pregnant women. Their children may have problems and be a little shaky. I hope you don't have any 20yr old kids. Get in my belly!!
