I have been having some stalling issues with my svx over the past couple months. I decided it was teh throttle body and cleaned it but that didnt fix my problem. Here are the issues....

My engine is perfect cold because it idles to high when its cold therefore it never dies when I first start it. Also it never has problems starting up. When the engine heats up a little I hear a loud whistling noise just behind the middle of the firewall. This is when it starts wanting to die when rolling to stop lights. This is wierd because its only when Im rolling to a stoplight or into a parking space, after I've stop it idles around 500 and doesnt die.

I have been also noticing some light knocking noises when I stop too (usually in the morning)

I really dont wanna pay the mechanic just to troubleshoot this issue, you guys got anyt ideas?
