Well, we got lucky and found a replacement SVX for Kyle after his unfortunate accident (appreciate all of the concern as to Kyle's well-being) with the '94 L Model, FWD.
Found a Polo Green '96 L Model with 78K miles on it, well maintained and looking like new money. Has the exact interior as the '94 - gray cloth. Good maintenance records with the 60K service recently done. I am very pleased with it, and Kyle already has it back at VCU. I will have photos in my locker posted this week.

Update on the "parting out of the wrecked '94: Have sent off a number of parts, but haven't gotten serious with the "big stuff" as yet. The interior is about all out and I am also working on the radio and 10 CD Changer in the trunk. I will establish a parts list of those parts available soon in my locker. So far shipped are the following: MAF, power antenna, sunvisors, belt cover on the engine, and rubber caps on wiper arms. Lots of easily removed parts already removed. My wife is complaining about the space being taken up in the basement....
