Thanks for the responses...I'll obviously have to change my profile to have emails set when replies are posted...
Power output of 300hp under our rules seems achieveable (more depending on how big my wallet is)...that automatically puts me in front of the other 4 bangers in my class (WRX's and Mitsubishi Evo's). They are hitting about 250 (because of restrictors in place to prevent more than 300bhp) but still weigh in about 1300kg's or more...based on Hocrests very encouraging post, their SVX is 2700lbs (1220kg) to which you'd have to add a cage back in (about 50kg)...so that's in the ball park??? As far as I can tell.
Suspension...I need to get underneath and measure some arms. If they are the same length and WRX stuff, then I can't see why the whole WRX corner can't be slotted in...then adapt the sway bar to suit.
Still early stages...
Somebody posted the weights of the glass...said it wasn't too bad (heavy but not too bad).
