Well, I've personally never replaced one on a 93 or newer. However, they are starting to get some miles on them now, (the one you're looking at sounds good), but you might at least want to pay for a screen cleaning and look see at what the pan has accumulated over time. I doubt the planetaries would scatter because it has the updated radiator. But ya never know, someone who was a leadfoot or something could have been driving it.

As a matter of fact the number of newer SVX trannies that I have replaced equals the number of AWS components I have replaced!

Since you are quite familiar with the WAS on the SVX , I was wondering if you could tell me what the shedule is for vacuuming furballs out of the MAF ?
