Re: ProTorque Torque Converter

I have a high stall converter in my car from level 10 as well. It makes the car feel faster and it pulls harder under light to medium throttle but the full throttle response is the same as with stock. With a proper valve body mod, torque converter, and a power mode mod to the TCU the SVX actually has a remarkably different feel around town. If I was gonna pick some mod to do as far as the trans goes, I would have a valve body mod done before I modded the converter. If you do, remember you have to be careful with modifying the converter as it can cause other problems due to the heat increase generated and it is also possible to have an effect on pressure, though I don't think this would cause you a problem. Get that heat out of the fluid if you're gonna have a high stall, with a high flow cooler. A high stall converter will really cook a system that has a restrictive cooler
