<Why the range finder and not an SLR?>
Price perhaps? Collectability? I wonder what the year of manufacture is. A buddy of mine in the Navy had a rangefinder Leica, much newer than this one. It seemed to be assembled like a Swiss watch.
I was forced to settle for a lowly Nikon F.
