Search around here and you'll find plenty of information on the SVX, but to touch a few quick points, the tranny can be a weak point, as can the wheel bearings and rotors (warping). Also know parts and repair can be costly.
If the car has been well maintained then the price sounds good and I'd snatch it up.
However, if your looking for gas mileage in the 30's this car isn't for you (nor would the majority of sports/gran-touring cars) most people seem to get between 20-25 highway and 17-19 city (some a little less, some a little more)
You do have to run super, unless you purchase a chip from ECU-Tune, which will (amongst other things) allow you to run regular gas at similar mileage ratings.
