Decided to pull the transmission codes if there were any. Thought I did that with the engine codes, but hey I'm a bit slow sometimes.

There were no existing problems but there were TCU code 32 and 33 Vehicle speed sensors 1 and 2 with the test for previous problems.

Given that the front axle fell out of the differential would that be what caused the speed sensor trouble codes? I don't know what the symptoms would be for them.
