But yes, it is a phase 1 WRX tranny taken from a '93 JDM WRX wagon. Has just a tick over 60,000 miles on it.
I had assumed that having the extra clutches would offset the loss of life compared to other 4.11's that I often hear complaints of.
So, odepaj, I'm just curious what you think of that, that's all. I'm surprised more people don't try to get ahold of them if they can indeed perform better than the USDM 4.11's.

Then I'm pretty sure it would work.
If it uses the same "ACT-4" gear as a USDM trans it should be fine. If its like the VTD JDM trans then you'll have problems.
Does anybody know if the VTD trans is listed as a "4EAT"? Or is it specified as "VTD"?
