Re: Summer tire decision - go cheap or not?
General and Continental always rank highly on both dry and wet roads and are reasonably priced. For me, summer tires are all about wet braking and wet handling. That becomes an issue far more often than pulling .9 Gs on dry road. Also, look at treadepot.com before pulling the trigger. They sometimes have a better price than Tire Rack.
