On Alldata it said that just doing a drain and fill from the pan you only lose 2.7-3 quarts. It seemed like a little more when I took my pan off to do my internal filter though. Anyways at least 3-4 more quarts and a new gasket won't be that bad to buy. You could always catch the new fluid in tranny with a very clean drain pan and reuse it because it is still pretty new.
