I already have it on my driver's side. Trouble is, to activate it, it also mechanically opens the door. So, in letting the passengers off, I have opened mine also, and have to reshut it, a total pain, esp in the rain.

I have heard other people with JDM cars can lift the latch so far, and it opens the central locking, but not the driver's door. This would be an OK solution too, but unfortunately does not work on mine. Both doors open at the same time. Maybe that switch could be readjusted to disarm the locking before the driver's door is physically opened.
