You can try flushing the tranny cooler in the radiator to clean the screen but it is hard to tell how effective it is. If you have the original radiator you are better off bypassing the cooler altogether and getting an aftermarket cooler. The 92s have that screen that clogs and then you are screwed.
Check the how to locker for diagrams of the flow in and out lines for the tranny and radiator
Adjusting the brake band can help if its not too late.
I'd do a few more drain and fills on the fluid - maybe once a week or so since your fluid was so bad looking - to try to thoroughly clean it out.
You can't get it all each time - only about half comes out in a drain and fill.
