I have to admit this project is not going as quite well as I had hoped. I am finding it hard to get a nice final smooth coat with this metallic paint. The "wet" coat. Particularly on the insides of the wheels where there are larger smooth areas. Luckily that part doesn't show too much.
On the plus side the repair of the big gash on the edge came out pretty good, can't even tell where it was now. I can also see that I will like the color a lot too, it is going to give the silver car a way more aggressive look than the bright sunnyness of the gold.
Now I better get back to work on them. At the speed I am going it will be a long while before they are all done.
